I know its been too long again, version 2.0.14 was just approved by apple and contains some great new features and fixes.
- Real time updating of devices!
- Lights, thermostats, zones and more will update their statuses in real time.
- New UI interface will display realtime updates as they are happening
- Added additional controls to Russound and Nuvo connected audio systems.
- Security zones now prompt for a pass-code to arm, disarm or bypass.
- Improved multiple area support.
- Various UI, performance and stability improvements.
Hi Dan, I wanted to say thanks for continuing to update the product (this release fixed a number of niggling issues for me because i have multiple areas), and wanted to report a new issue: this version seems worse at recognizing that it no longer has a working TCP connection. This manifests as the app showing stale information (e.g. Security status), and app actions (e.g. arming the system) to appear to sit and hang for a long time. I usually end up short circuiting this by turning my connection off and then on to force a reconnection attempt, but it’s inconvenient, will take time to train my wife to do this, and it used to work better.
I’m not sure whether this is strictly an App issue (and not bad 3G data connection or phone still attached to a Wifi access point that’s just out of range) but as I said it used to work better before the update.

I have to say I am both disapointed and embarassed. Disapointed because of your lack of response to one of my clients who purchased your hai app. And embarassed because i actually recomended your app to them!!
Since your most recent update, their older iphones cannot use the newly updated App. They have contacted you a number of times. At furst you acknowledged the problem and saud a solution was on the way. After waiting they contacted you again. Now you appear to be ignoring them. As a professional integrator i have many clients with HAI systems. You can be assured you will never hear from any of my clients again, because i will never recommend your app again.
